March 25, 2024 FT names Elemental one of Europe’s 1000 Fastest Growing Companies
Elemental has been named one of the fastest growing companies in Europe, in the 2024 Financial Times List. The prestigious rankings, now in their 8th year, include companies from 34 European countries.
According to the FT, this year’s list showcases those European companies that have grown fastest in the face of various challenges in recent times, including COVID-19, the uncertainty caused by war in Ukraine, and high inflation.
The list looks at the cumulative annual growth rate in revenue from 2019 to 2022. This year, a minimum average growth rate of 36.3 percent was required for inclusion.
IT and software groups featured most prominently, representing almost 1 in 5 entries. Like last year, Italy led the pack with 309 entries followed by Germany (202) and the UK (131).
MD Nick Lindsay said “In the last three years the team has not only risen to every challenge but found new opportunities. Whether it’s been new ways of working post-covid or responding quickly to a slew of new legislation. This is an amazing recognition of everyone’s resilience and proof that Elemental is doing things differently in its sector”.
During this period, Elemental has grown all its core departments: governance, company secretarial, and accounting. It has twice been named “Service Provider of the Year” by the Chartered Governance Institute and has become a market leader for Economic Crime Compliance. The firm now supports many leading UK law firms and their clients with outsourced compliance services.
Elemental placed #526 on the list. It was one of only three professional services firms in the legal and accounting sector and was one of the top 100 fastest-growing companies in the UK.
